Using Tools Without a Directory Listing

Tools on a Subscription, Listing Optional

You do not have to be listed in our public directory to use the platform. Every practice tool works on your subscription alone: manage clients, draft and review wills, send engagement letters, and use the calendar and booking tools while your profile stays private.

The directory listing is a separate, optional step. Being verified does not automatically publish your profile; you decide whether to be listed, and you can leave the listing switched off for as long as you like.

Bring your own clients: use the tools to serve clients you already have, without seeking new enquiries through us
Keep your profile private: nothing about your practice is shown publicly while your listing is switched off
No platform commission on your own clients: clients you bring yourself carry no commission. What a directory listing costs depends on your profession and country: it may be free, a flat monthly fee, or a share of fees on clients introduced to you (see listing fees)

Leads Come Only With a Listing

Referred clients (the “leads” that come from people searching the platform for a professional) only reach you when your directory listing is switched on. While you stay tools-only, your profile is not shown to prospective clients, so you will not receive directory enquiries.

Switching on a listing later

When you would like to receive referred clients, opt in to the directory from your Profile Status page. Your listing goes live once your professional details are verified, and you can switch it off again at any time.
