Connecting Your Calendar
Step-by-step guides for every calendar you can connect, and how to choose between them.
Kinds of Connection
There are three ways to connect a calendar.
Sign in with your provider (two-way). You sign in on your provider’s own page and approve access. We never see your password. Choose whether events flow in, out or both ways.
CalDAV with an app password (two-way). You give us your provider’s CalDAV details and a password made just for this connection. Two-way sync works the same as signing in.
Calendar link (read-only). You paste a private calendar link. We only read it to see when you are busy, and nothing we book is added to that calendar.
Which Should I Pick?
- If your provider is listed by name, use its guide below. That is the simplest route
- Google, Outlook, Zoho and Yahoo connect by signing in, with no password to copy
- Apple iCloud and the CalDAV providers need an app password, which you create in your provider’s account settings
- If your provider offers neither sign-in nor CalDAV, for example Proton, use a read-only calendar link. Bookings then avoid your busy times, but nothing is added to that calendar
