You can choose to send that one document to an external AI provider for enhanced processing, and we record your consent. Otherwise it stays entirely on our servers.

Yes. A family member or executor sees what you shared only after they sign in.

Only with a valid legal order from a competent authority. Where the law allows us to tell you, we will.

No, and we won't claim it is. We're “minimum-knowledge”: we hold the keys needed to run the service. Exceptional access, such as for a security incident or a legal order, is logged in our internal audit record.

Database backups are encrypted, and we run regular restore drills that decrypt the latest backup into an isolated database and check that it is complete. We are formalizing published recovery-time and recovery-point targets as our continuity program matures.
