Can I bring my whole client list over at once?

Yes. A CSV upload creates a client record for each row and carries their will details, such as executors, beneficiaries and gifts, in indexed columns, so you are not typing your list in by hand. The will documents themselves are then imported through the import wizard, where you confirm you hold your clients' authorisation.

Which will documents can I import?

The import wizard accepts PDF, Word documents and scans, as well as structured details typed in directly. You can bring in one client's will at a time, or upload several documents at once and assign each file to its client, so a book can be moved across in batches.

Can I import my own precedents or clause bank?

Accepted Answer

From Word, yes. The precedent import reads a Word (.docx) precedent into your template library, keeping its clause structure and turning merge fields into placeholders, and saves it as a private draft so you review every clause before it is used. Precedents held in other formats are rebuilt using the template and clause tools.

Do I have to stop using my current system on a set date?

Accepted Answer

No. You can run both in parallel and move clients across at your own pace, for example as each one comes up for review. There is no cut-over deadline imposed by the platform.
